The Marseille History Museum (Le  Musée d'Histoire de Marseille) provides archaeological exhibits covering the period from pre-history to the Gallo-Roman times.  Visitors can witness the exploration of an ancient Greek fortification at the site.

The Musée d'Histoire can be found near the Old Port in Marseille's 1st Arrondissement.
